WP Engine enables OPcache by default, but WordPress Tools → Site Health reports Opcode Cache as "not enabled" because WP Engine’s security settings prevent opcache_get_status() from returning the expected status.
Since OPcache is enabled and managed by WP Engine, could WP Engine suppress or replace WordPress’s opcode_cache Site Health test using the site_status_tests filter? Ideally, Site Health would report that OPcache is enabled and managed by WP Engine rather than displaying a false negative.
Also, since this is more of a general hosting platform issue than a Performance Insights feature request, it may be worth considering a general Hosting Platform board for feedback and requests related to WP Engine's hosting environment.
