Garbage migration tool. Wasted hours.

I spent 7 hours waiting for this tool to migrate a 14GB site to WPE. I kept stalling out and never got past 5% and was stuck in the tables portion of the migration. I cancelled it and downloaded the legacy migration tool and it's screaming along. Took only a few minutes to do the tables and now just a few minutes later it's over 10% done on the files. I may have to find some other tool or service when the legacy one stops working. Sad.

Andrew Christensen Hi, Andrew. I'm the product manager of the WP Engine Site Migration plugin. I'm sorry that this was your experience. I understand you ended up migrating with the legacy plugin.
If you still have the source site available and are open to us running a test migration to a dev environment, then my team can investigate in an effort to improve the plugin for the next time you may need it. Let me know if you'd like to take that step, and I can reach out to you via email.

Kevin Hoffman yeah the site is still up.
Feel free to give it a go. Was nothing but problems yesterday. 2 hours and it was still at 0%. I hit pause and then resume and suddenly it did like 99mb in a few moments and then stalled again. Kept having to pause and resume to get it to do anything and gave up at 7 hours.

Andrew Christensen: Thanks, we will take a look. I have the credentials now and removed them from your reply for privacy.

Andrew Christensen Thanks for allowing us to run some test migrations. We were able to replicate the migration getting stuck during the tables stage on two different tables, so we were unable to attribute the error to a specific table. We found that pausing and resuming the stuck migration allowed it to continue making progress, so we are going to make further improvements to the retry mechanism to ensure the migration can continue moving if it encounters a temporary error.
