WordPress 6.4 adds core support for meta field revisions. I know ACF has its own support for revisioning meta data but it has some bugs, for example with previewing meta fields. It would be great if ACF could support the native feature in WP 6.4 and later.

Hey joppuyo! Thanks for the suggestion. We're actively looking into this, as we're working on improving revisions (and fixing a bug) with the new code in WordPress 6.4.

It will be a while before we can fully take advantage of the new WP 6.4 code, as we're still using the WordPress legacy metabox for ACF fields to be compatible with both classic and the block editor; but we're investigating, and we expecting our next release to start this work, as we fix some issues with our revisions that exist since WordPress 6.4 released.
