Site Reports

Hi Everyone! I wanted to share with everyone that in Spring 2026 we're planning to add API endpoints to enable you to create and manage Site Reports. As of this writing on 30 Oct 2025, we're about to release the ability to schedule reports for automated delivery. This will be followed with a White Labelling feature for Site Reports which will allow customers on our Agency and Premium plans to brand Site Reports with their own logo and colours. This will be released in phases with a final release in early 2026 with the API enablement work to follow. Currently, we're planning on the following report management functionality via our API-- For previously created reports-- list previously created reports To create new reports-- list report content sections/pages available create ad-hoc / on demand report create a scheduled report To manage scheduled reports-- List scheduled reports Delete a scheduled report Edit a scheduled report Additional functions are TBD. The ability to include a list of updated plugins, themes, and core versions on each recurring report so as to showcase to a client how much back-end work was done in the given period.

It would be ideal to add notes/messages to the report, white label it, and have it automated to be emailed monthly. Customizing the report (if needed) for each site would also be ideal.

I appreciate the emails you send about security vulnerabilities of our plugins. The emails typically have the subject line "WP Engine Security - Plugin Vulnerability Notification..." I'd like to request that you change the format of these emails. Right now, the emails are very wordy and they take a few moments to read to extract the key information. Instead, I recommend that at the top of these emails, before all the text explanation you currently have, that you provide the following list of succinct information: Affected site: e.g. mysite Plugin name: e.g. Elementor Level of severity: e.g. Severe Brief description: e.g. Data from an attacker could be interpreted as code by site visitors’ web browsers. Thank you for your consideration. Honestly, right now I find reading the full editorial description of the situation/vulnerability a little confusing sometimes. Thanks!

I got an email that said "Your account is currently exceeding your plan’s storage limits" and nowhere in the subject or the message body is there any indication of which account is over quota. I am connected to over 50 sites across probably close to 40 accounts. It would be extremely helpful to tell me which account is experiencing the overage so I don't have to check them all.

When running Site Reports after doing a plugin and core update I notice that the version information displayed in the reports is stale. It would be great if Site Reports used fresh information and triggered a Core and Plugin version "refresh" prior to running.

I noticed when you have your Appearance setting set to Dark mode, the exported pdf is also in dark mode. If I set it to Light, then the pdf has a normal, white background. The dark mode pdf also makes the text illegible on any graphs/charts (example attached). I'd like to see the reports exported with a white background by default (maybe give the option for dark on export?).

A scheduling feature, a option for 48 day report, website traffic graph and a email to given user would all be pretty helpful features

From our client at Setina.com - "WP Engine has a bug that they have let go for months now. My logs are being filled with error messages about constants being redefined, and they are specifically constants from WP Engine’s additions to ‘WP-config.php’. All they need to do is add an if statement, and only define the constants if the constants aren’t already defined, but they neglected to do so and a good portion of my error logs are a report of exactly that. Is there any way you could try to light a fire with them to get this issue corrected? It’s an impossibly easy code change. I can elaborate and specifically list the constants that are in question."

At random times, chicagoscholars.org will be unavailable and show an error that says "This site is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance. Please try again later!" This happens even when there is no scheduled maintenance or maintenance of any kind happening. Please advise.
